Tides & Trials Come In Waves
Tides & Trials Come In Waves
Originally this paining was part of the “Calm Your Storm” collection. This epic wave is extremally special. With the intention behind this piece being to recreate the sense of perspective you feel about what you are currently going through in life as you stare in awe at the power and force of a stormy sea. This painting was created through a cluster of emotionally distressing trials which will now always be a part of it. Painting through upset, exhaustion and anxiety has woven it into the canvas itself. This hyper-realistic wave transports you to the ocean, where you can sit and watch the waves crashing down knowing that soon the tide will recede and a calm will set in. Like a window view out to sea whenever you need a reminder that tides and trials come in waves.

Made from 100% cotton rag and using a cold press production technique, this paper features a textured matte finish. Designed for longevity, Cold Press Bright is free of acid, lignin, and chlorine and is pH buffered.
Paper prints do not have a protective coating and must be mounted behind glass.

- Made using award winning, truly archival, museum-grade Breathing Color LYVE canvas. The natural texture of the canvas produces prints that are hard to tell apart from an art original, and because they are not behind glass, offer stunning, rich colour views from any angle. The inks used are 200 year lightfast colour as certified by the Wilhelm Institute.
1.5” Gallery depth stretcher bars are locally made and sourced from sustainable, Vancouver Island Douglas fir and Hemlock, kiln-dried and milled locally on the island.
